Practical Proposal Preparation: Broader Impacts Statements

Are you working on a grant proposal? Beyond preparing your work plan and budget, you must demonstrate through required supplemental proposal sections that you understand best practices, regulations, and expectations of the funder for stewardship of funds and compliance. 

Who should attend? The workshops are open to all faculty and grantseeking professional staff who would like "hands-on" support for developing the identified proposal component. These workshops are also appropriate for those planning a future proposal and who would like to learn more and recieve resources.

The PPP workshop on "Broader Impacts" will provide participants with context on the regulatory and guiding principles for federal agencies' requirements related to research impacts, as well as examples of successful "impacts" activities to implement. The workshop will also present sources of leveraged capacities available at MSU to support Broader Impacts.
