IGNITE Workshop: Health Research and Public Health

In 2023, ORED hosted a symposium on "Public Health and Health Research" which brought together experts and stakeholders to discuss opportunities for which MSU is positioned to develop solutions or advancements.

Building on the momentum of the 2023 Health Research Symposium, a goal of this event is to identify interest and facilitate conversations and activities to support development of responsive proposals to any or all of the funding opportunities captured in the spreadsheet HERE

To register, please review the information about the selected opportunities and complete the form below, indicating to which of the identified funding opportunities you might wish to contribute and how (ex: subject matter expertise, infrastructure, stakeholder partnership history, etc..) You may select multiple opportunities. Prior to the workshop, the information collected will be shared with all registrants, Please register by August 31. ORD will prepare and provide proposal development resources, including solicitation analyses, outlines, and templates, for those opportunities garnering the most interest.

Who should attend?  Any faculty or staff member with expertise or capabilities to contribute to potential proposals in response to the funding opportunities identified.

This workshop is the first in a series designed to facilitate professional networking, build teams, and catalyze the development of proposals in response to pre-identified funding opportunities.  The goal of each workshop is to bring together faculty and professional staff with complementary expertise and varying levels of grants experience to develop competitive projects for the selected opportunities.
